Hotel Santa Fe

Our hotel, Hotel Santa Fe, is the only venture of its kind in the United States. It began in 1988 when local business people approached Picuris tribal leaders about a joint development. The agreement that ensued is a culturally-honorable step toward financial independence for the tribe.

In March 1991, Hotel Santa Fe opened and our Four Diamond addition - The Hacienda at Hotel Santa Fe - opened in September 2001. Much of our hotel staff is Native American, and the Arts and Crafts Gift Shop is filled with Native American art and furnishings.  The restaurant features Native American and International cuisine.

Hospitality is an honored tradition. In this spirit, we invite you to the only Native American owned hotel in Santa Fe. Located in Santa Fe's world renowned historic district, our hotel is a world apart - a unique cultural experience. From our luxurious rooms and suites to the lilting notes of a Native flute to the culinary brilliance of our executive chef ... "mah-waan, mah-waan" - welcome.

Preserving culture through the science and art of adobe architecture is a most visible mission at Hotel Santa Fe. Our property sits peacefully on the rim of downtown, occupying three acres adorned by Native American sculpture, totems, wildflowers, and privacy. Available on request is a shuttle from our Hotel to the Pueblo of Picuris, which can be arranged through the Hotel.

The Hacienda offers the ultimate in Four-Diamond comfort. Secluded within the grounds of the Hotel Santa Fe, it is an exclusive retreat. 35 special rooms and suites are filled with Indian art, colors inspired by the gem-like tones of ceremonial blankets, and the warmth of hand-crafted wood.
